Google Caffeine: Google’s New Search Engine Index

Google Caffeine” is advanced Google search architecture of new era.

Google Caffeine is a robust foundation that makes it possible for Google, to build an even faster and comprehensive search engine that scales with the growth of information online, and delivers even more relevant search results.

-->
Caffeine is a fundamental re-architecting of how our indexing system works," Cutts says. "It's larger than a revamp. It's more along the lines of a rewrite. And it's really great. It gives us a lot more flexibility, a lot more power. The ability to index more documents. Indexing speeds - that is, how quickly you can put a document through our indexing system and make it searchable - is much much better."

Make Money Online

Here are some sites that I use to make extra money. They are relatively easy.

Vindale Research
  • I haven’t used this too much, but I’ve heard that people make around $10-$20 a month from this.
BestMark Shopping
  • I’ve talked about BestMark in a lot of my posts so far. It’s easy money and I do secret shops for restaurants, Best Buy, and so on.

Mr. Rebates
Mr. Rebates
  • Whenever you are about to buy something online, check to see if the company is listed on Mr. Rebates. If it is, then when you buy something, you will get a rebate (can be anywhere from 1% to 40% back).
Swagbucks
  • Swagbucks is a search engine (like Google or Yahoo) that offers you the chance to earn “swagbucks” for different things. I mainly just do my normal internet searches through Swagbucks. Then when you accumulate enough, you can go to the prize store and get anything from toys, electronics, and gift cards. Most people buy Amazon gift cards.
Offermatic
  • This is similar to Mint.com. It tracks your spending through your credit cards and the like.
  • Here is a direct quote: “
1. Connect a card Log in once to your card account to let Offermatic see where you’ve shopped.
2. Get personalized offers OfferMatch™, our proprietary offer-matching technology, will analyze your purchase history to find you more relevant offers!
3. Get money back! Shop like you normally do. Your saved cash is paid out directly to your card!”

Infographics: Latest SEO Methods To Rank Higher & Avoid Over Optimization

Penguin and Panda updates have disregarded most of the SEO techniques that worked wonders once. This is the high time when webmasters and website owners need to consider what their end user would like and ultimately what search engines would find natural and rankable. After you build or tweak your website targeting the end user, link building and SEO techniques need to follow the search engines’ quality guidelines. Primary elements of quality SEO and link building that can please Google pets like Penguin and Panda are.

1) Great content that appeals your audience
2) Proper Anchor text variation
3) Finding and approach link prospects that relates with your industry and find your website worth linking to
4) The linking prospects are not connected with a bad neighborhood
5) Diversifying your link building and SEO techniques
6) Getting socially engaged with your audience

Google announces a new ranking algorithm update

Some days ago, Google announced a ranking algorithm update. The new ranking algorithm will also consider the number of valid copyright removal notices that a website receives.
copyright removal notice
What exactly was announced by Google?

Here's the text from the official announcement:

"Starting next week, we will begin taking into account a new signal in our rankings: the number of valid copyright removal notices we receive for any given site. Sites with high numbers of removal notices may appear lower in our results. [...]

Since we re-booted our copyright removals over two years ago, we’ve been given much more data by copyright owners about infringing content online. In fact, we’re now receiving and processing more copyright removal notices every day than we did in all of 2009—more than 4.3 million URLs in the last 30 days alone. We will now be using this data as a signal in our search rankings. [...]

While this new signal will influence the ranking of some search results, we won’t be removing any pages from search results unless we receive a valid copyright removal notice from the rights owner."

Domains with valid copyright removal notices can be found here.

Will there be exceptions?

Google announced that YouTube and other big websites (for example Facebook, IMDB, Tumblr and Twitter) won't be affected by this new ranking signal.

In addition to the pure number of copyright removal notices, Google also checks other factors that influence the reputation of a site.

What do you have to do to make sure that your website won't be hit?

If you receive a copyright removal notice from Google, you should  remove the content from your website if the claim is valid. If it is a false copyright removal request, send a counter notice. Google provides a link to a counter notice in the copyright removal notices.

The new copyright signal is only one of many signals that Google uses to determine the position of a website in the search results. Google's Amit Singhal said in the official announcement of the new ranking signal that Google "developed over 200 signals to ensure [their] search algorithms deliver the best possible results."
